Project Overview

For the Opéra de Montréal's 2023/24 production of La Traviata, Maaketto led the complete campaign creative — from editorial photography direction to OOH advertising, digital content, and press materials. The challenge: reintroduce one of opera's most beloved works to a new generation without alienating existing patrons.

The Challenge

Opera marketing defaults to heritage. The Opéra de Montréal needed La Traviata to feel urgent and culturally relevant to a city with one of North America's most vibrant underground arts scenes. The campaign had to make a 25-year-old stop at McGill metro station.
